Stuart Brown, Associate, Strategic Analyst
As an Associate and Strategic Analyst at 2020 Environmental Group, Stuart works with the 2020 team and clients in the management and execution of sell- and buy-side Mergers and Acquisitions [M&A]. This involves all phases and aspects of the M&A transaction process, including:
Financial review and analysis of companies considering selling or buying, including past and future revenue growth and profitability, key performance metrics and benchmarking against industry averages, and input to M&A market valuations.
Identifying potential M&A targets that meet the strategic needs of buyers or sellers.
Research and analysis of market trends and growth opportunities within the environmental industry.
Preparation of all M&A marketing materials, including Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs).
Managing outreach and communications between the buyer and sellers and fostering a positive relationship leading to a successful transaction.
Networking with executives/owners of companies that may be looking to sell or make acquisitions as part of their strategic growth plan.
Stuart graduated with a B.S. in Finance from the University of San Francisco in 2023. He initially took classes in Environmental Science and Engineering and switched his focus to Finance in his junior year. While studying at USF, he completed two internships with an environmental and water resources consulting firm.
Stuart lives in San Francisco and enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, and generally staying fit.
